I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2003.
That same year, I began my residency at the Hacettepe University Department of General Surgery and completed it in 2009, qualifying as a general surgeon.
After my military service and compulsory public service, I worked as a general surgeon at two hospitals in Ankara – one foundation and one private hospital – between 2012 and 2017.
In 2017, I joined the Department of General Surgery at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine as a faculty member.
I became an Assistant Professor in 2019 and an Associate Professor in 2022. Since 2024, I have been in private practice.
In 2023, I passed the European board examination in coloproctology and was awarded the European Board of Surgery Qualification in Coloproctology (FEBS).
In addition to the Turkish Surgical Association and the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, I am a member of many other scientific societies in surgery. My special interests include advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, colorectal cancers, proctological diseases and pelvic floor disorders.
